Thomas Perkins Holt, Jr. June 14, 1934 - July 23, 2009 Tom Holt, 75, a resident of El Segundo, California and formerly of Long Beach, California, passed away peacefully with his family on July 23, 2009. Born on June 14, 1934 in Lonoke, AR, he was the third child of Tom and Paum Holt.
Tom was a devoted and beloved father and husband. Tom was preceded in death by his first wife, Doris (Dieter) Holt and sister Ada Fields. He is survived by his wife Pat (Hart) Holt, sister Sue Fulbright, and his five children: Pam (Holt) Lane, Matthew Holt, Elizabeth (Holt) Smith, Danna (Holt) Ramos, and Lois (Holt) Stone.
Through the blessing of his marriage to Pat he embraced her six children as his own: Kathy (Hart) Morris, Tim Hart, Colleen (Hart) Clarry, Maureen (Hart) Chute, Sean Hart, and Brendan Hart.
He was also loved by his 26 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
There will be a Viewing at Rice Mortuary in Torrance, CA on July 30, 2009 from 4PM to 8PM, with a Prayer Service starting at 7PM. Memorial Mass will be at American Martyrs Catholic Church in Manhattan Beach, CA on July 31, 2009 at 11AM. Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery in Long Beach, CA on August 1, 2009 at 10AM. His family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to either Fr.
