Patty is the third child of Charles and Anna Margaret Davis Marino. She is survived by her mother, sister and two brothers. Patty owned and operated a Christian Bookstore on Main Street in Buckhannon, West Virginia. She was active in her community and church. She had a long and difficult battle with breast cancer but faced her condition with grace and courage.∼Patty Queen
Patty Ann Marino Queen, 44, of 7 Green St., Buckhannon, died at 12:10 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2004, at her home.
She was born Oct. 13, 1959, in Buckhannon, the daughter of the late Charles Marino and Anna "Boots" Davis Marino, who survives in Buckhannon.
Surviving are one sister, Sue Overley and husband, Ron, of Placitas, N.M.; two brothers, Charles "Buster" Marino and wife, Lisa, of Georgetown, Ohio, and Joseph Marino of Buckhannon; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the owner of A New Creation Book Store and was secretary for the Choral Society in Buckhannon and was a member of the Buckhannon-Upshur Chamber of Commerce, was active in the Community Theatre and was a member of the Buckhannon Country Club.
She attended Christian Fellowship Church.
Friends will be received from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at Christian Fellowship Church where funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. J. Edward McDaniels and Pastor Mike Westfall will officiate and interment will follow in the Mt. Union Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Hospice, 1 Amalia Drive, Buckhannon, W.Va. 26201. Poling- St. Clair is in charge of the arrangements.
