Richard Campbell 61, Carthage, died May 31, 2002 at St. Luke's Nursing Center. He was a lifetime Carthage resident, born March 15, 1941 at Carthage, MO to Albert Campbell and Vena Walters Campbell. He worked at Leggett & Platt for 20 years retiring as vice president for transportation. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. He married Mary Beth Brown April 2, 1963. She survives. Other survivors include a son Bryan Bedford Campbell, a daughter, Catherine Elizabeth Cochran, a sister Bessie VanHooser and a brother-in-law Joe Brown. Services were held at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, burial in Sarcoxie Cemetery.
