Greene - Funeral services for George Henry Staudt, 72, will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church here. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery in Dougherty. The Rosary will be recited Monday at 8 p.m. at Reid Funeral Chapel. He died of a heart attack Sunday.
Born March 31, 1896, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Staudt, Marble Rock. He was a veteran of World War I and farmed until retiring to Greene in 1960.
Surviving are his wife, Mary; two sons, Donald and Donavan, and a daughter, Mrs. Mary Abell, all of Dougherty. A son, Maurice, was killed in World War II.
