Walter Vernon Linn, 81, of Colcord, Oklahoma died October 2, 2014 at Washington Regional Hospital, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Born September 2, 1933 at Row, Oklahoma he was the son of Dave and Elva (McCombs) Linn. He and Earlene Wolfe were married February 25, 1956.
Walter was a farmer raising cattle and chickens. He was involved in the Colcord Riding Club, on the Board of First Responders and member of the Colcord Volunteer Fire Department.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Bessie Cornelison and brother James Nichols.
Funeral services will be 2:00pm, Monday, October 6, 2014 at Countryside Bible Church, Colcord, Oklahoma with Pastor Logan Shelley. Burial will follow at Row Cemetery, Colcord, Oklahoma. Visitation will from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m, Sunday, October 5, 2014 at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
