Mr. Bennett, of 3452 Bender Ave., died Friday at Akron City Hospital after a five week illness.
Born in Byesville, he had lived 44 year in the Akron area. He was a meember of Lakeview Church of Christ and United Rubber Workers Local 7.
He leaves his wife, Ethel; a daughter, Mrs. arbara Hirschfelt of Akron; a brother, John Bennett of Cambridge and three grandchildren.
