OBITUARY :
ROBERT EUGENE "BOB" CUMMINS, 70, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014, at Georgetown Hospital due to complications from surgery.

He is the beloved husband of Bonnie Kay Cummins, loving father of Karin B. Schwartz and Laurie B. Morris, and grandfather of Zachary and Nicholas.

Family will receive friends on Monday, Oct. 6, 2014, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Sterling United Methodist Church, 304 E. Church Road, Sterling, VA 20164. A celebration of life will be held the following day at 2 p.m. in the same location.

Due to the passion for his church, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in his name to Sterling United Methodist Church Building Fund.

Interment will take place at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
