He played football for South High School, and graduated from Marion Franklin High School in 2012.

He was scheduled to test for a position with the Columbus Fire Department and had recently enrolled as a student at Columbus State Community College, with plans of later transferring to The Ohio State University.

Survived by mother and stepfather Sandra and Tyrone Johnson, Sr.; father Andre Armstrong; brothers Charles Keyshawn Marshall and Tyrone E. Johnson, Jr.; sisters Malika Armstrong and Mercedes Armstrong; grandparents Wessoloski and Rosalyn Kelley, Norma Woods, and Eloise Armstrong; uncles Wessoloski (Quenchel) Kelley, III. and Wesley Kelley; aunt Jeanie (David) Bailey; special mentor and father figure Charles E.
