ELY WRIGHT, PIONEER OF MARINETTE, DIES
Ely Wright, one of the early pioneers of Marinette, died yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. George Fabian {sic}, wife of Col. George Fabian, who reside in Riverview, Geneva, Ill.

Mr. Wright was a prominent resident of this city in the late sixties and early seventies and was associated with the firm of Wright Bros., who conducted a general store here.
With him were his brothers, Anston {sic} Wright and J.K. {Jason K.} Wright.
The late Mrs. E.L. Parmenter, mother of Mrs. H.A. Vennema, Menominee, {Michigan}, was a sister.
He was a Civil war veteran and was a leader in G.A.R. circles while residing here.

The remains will be brought to Marinette tomorrow for burial by the side of his wife in Woodlawn cemetery. There will be funeral services at Martin's undertaking parlors at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning and the Rev. A.W. Bill, Menominee, an old friend, will officiate. The funeral will be private
