Family will visit with friends from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 7th at Williams Funeral Home Mt. Pleasant. Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 8th at Williams Funeral Home Mt. Pleasant Chapel. Burial will follow at Arlington Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant, TN. The family will serve as pallbearers.
Emma loved so many things such as gardening either flowers or vegetables, sowing, or simply taking long walks on their farm. While she loved so many things she was truly above all a talented artist. She painted beautiful portraits of many scenes as well as crafted pottery and ceramics.
Emma is survived by her: sons: David Ridge Wilhite of Mt. Pleasant, TN and Richard Henry Wilhite of South Carolina; grandchildren: David Lee (Michelle) Wilhite, Richard Benjamin Wilhite, Sheril (Ronnie) Long, Shannon (
Michael) Boston, Joshua Ted (Autumn) Wilhite, Alexis (Dennis) Rudich, Luke Wilhite, Brittany (Jake) Hawley; and 8 great grandchildren. Emma is preceded in death by her son Virgil S. Wilhite III, brother Edward Ridge and granddaughter Emma Catherin Wilhite.
