Obituary of Myrtie May Waite Harris - 1957
Mrs. May Harris, of Birmingham, Michigan, formerly of Yorkville, died Saturday, December 21, at the age of 85 years. She was born in Yorkville on December 4, 1872. She is survived by a son, Merrill Harris, of Yorkville, and a daughter, Mrs. Ora Richards, Of Birmingham, Michigan; eleven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank G. Harris and one daughter, Mrs. Ina Harris Jones. Funeral services were held from the Hasemeyer funeral home in Yorkville Monday, December 23, at at 2 o'clock. The Rev. Walter S. Henry officiating, with interment in Elmwood cemetery. Pallbearers were Gerald Matlock, Ed Price, Hugh Pope, William Ford, Emil Falasky and Charles Halbesma.
