Normal L. Kuffel Erickson of Honolulu, Hawaii, formerly of 1424 North 8th Street, Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Honolulu, Hawaii.

Norma was born in the town of Newton, Manitowoc County. She was the daughter of the late Herman and Anna Boeckman Carstens. Norma was a graduate of Lincoln High School and continued her education graduating from the Manitowoc Business College. She was employed as a legal secretary for 45 years at the la offices of Nash, Spindler, Grimstead and Mccracken originally known as Nash and Nash Law Offices retiring in 1985. Norma was married to Lars A. Kuffel on June 8, 1940 at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on May 29, 1996. She later married Donald Erickson in Honolulu, Hawaii.

She is survived by her husband: Donald Erickson, Honolulu, HI; one niece; Phyllis (Curtis) Koepp, Manitowoc, WI; one great niece: Susan (Bradley) Jorgensen, Sherwood, WI; along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her first husband: Lars Kuffel; parents: Herman and Anna Carstens; two sisters and three brothers-in-law: Hertha and William Trefz; Irene and Stanley Kotchi; Bennett Alfson; nephew: Donald Ryan.

Memorial services will be held 130 p.m. Monday, September 24, 2012 at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum. Officiating will be Rev. Paul Schossow with entombment to take place at Knollwood Mausoleum. Cremation has taken place in Hawaii. Relatives and friends may call at Knollwood Mausoleum on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services at 1:30.
