Krzizike, Florian P.

Florian P. Krzizike, age 96, of 12219 Hwy. 42, Mishicot, died early Wednesday morning, September 18, 2013 at the Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.

Florian was born in Two Creeks on November 2, 1916 to the late John and Josephine (Mrotek) Krzizike. He attended the Twin Elder School in the Town of Two Creeks, and also the Vocational School in Two Rivers where he learned the trade of Machinist. On June 3, 1944, he married LaVern Stefaniak at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Two Rivers. The couple was blessed with 69 years of marriage. Florian and LaVern farmed in the town of Two Creeks for most of their life. Florian also worked out as a machinist for many years at Manitowoc Ship Yards, Hamilton Mfg. Co. in Two Rivers, and retired from Hydra-Tool in Two Rivers. He was a long time member of the Silver K - Kiwanis Club of Two Rivers; he enjoyed the outdoors - hunting, fishing, and always growing beautiful flower & vegetable gardens.

He is survived by his wife, LaVern Krzizike; two daughters: Carol Krzizike & husband Russ Wells of Branson, MO, Betty Neuenschwander & husband Terry of Green Cove Springs, FL; seven grandchildren: Tammy Krzizike, Joseph (Lorraine) Krzizike, Tracy (Timothy) Schoenauer, Andrew (Katie) Krzizike, Katie (Robert) Lindbloom, Daniel Krzizike, Ashley (Mitchel) Brenghause; and nine great grandchildren: Brittney, Kaitlin, Leona, Ethan, Hannah, Owen, Autumn, Olivia & Isabella. He is further survived by a brother-in-law, Dr. Jerome (Joann) Stefaniak; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, David (Joan) Krzizike; one brother, Edwin (Eunice) Krzizike, and two brothers-in-law, Donald (Marian) Stefaniak, and Clarence (Dorothy) Stefaniak.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, September 23, 2013 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3201 Mishicot Rd., Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Peter Mitchell, with entombment to follow in Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, Hwy. 310, Manitowoc.

The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church after 9:00 a.m. Monday, September 23, 2013 until the time of mass at 10:30 a.m. There will be no Sunday evening visitation.
