Son of Alfred & Emma (Riechert) Lange.
Graduated from Aurora High School.
Military: U.S. Army during World War II, was medically discharged.
Married: July 18, 1948, to Doris Obermeier in Aurora. She died March 4, 1991.
Had farmed near Hampton and Aurora all of his life; was a member of First Lutheran Church in Aurora.
Actiivites: loved spending time with his family, playing horseshoes and cards, and telling jokes.
Survivors include his son, Larry of Kearney; and daughter, Sheryl Willis of Kearney; also his son-in-law Jerry Willis of Kearney; daughter-in-law, Sharon Lange of Sidney; grandchildren, Machelle Gerbitz of Grant and Skyler, Molly, Cole and Hunter Willis and Scott Lange, all of Kearney; and great-grandchildren, David and Bradley Gerbitz of Grant.
Was preceded in death by his wife; parents; infant sister, Viola and two brothers, Everett and Burdell.
