Of Florence Dies;
Funeral Thursday
FLORENCE- Sept. 10 - Funeral services for Charles H. Barringer, , well known merchant and real estate man of Florence and Charlotte, N.C., who died Tuesday morning at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami, Fla., after a few days illness, will be held at Walters Funeral Home here Thursday morning at 11 o'clock. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Mr. Barringer was born in Glodsboro, N.C., a son of WIlliam R. Barringers Sr., and Isabelle Laurence Barringer, the family coming to Florence in his childhood.
He is survived by one son, Henry Barriger of New York and the following sisters and brothers; Mrs.Louise Keller of Florence; Mrs. Fannie Wysong, Greensboro, N.C.; Mrs. Mary King of New York and Frank Barringer of Miami. Half sisters surviving are Mrs. J.F. Bland of Mayesville, Mrs. James Heape of Florence and Mrs. C.B. Anderson of Macon, Ga..
