Walter Dale Caudill, 81, peacefully passed away on October 6, 2014 in Modesto, California. He was born in Ceres, California, the youngest of ten to the late Theodore and Ivy Caudill.

Dale leaves behind his loving wife of sixty-one years, LaVerne Caudill; also survived by their four children, Susan Mort (Stephen) of Modesto, California, Jon Caudill (Kathy) of Turlock, California, Bryan Caudill (Janet) of Modesto, California; and two sisters, Belva Gilton of Riverbank, California and Beryl Croslow of Modesto, California; he also leaves seven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

He lived in Modesto and Ceres for most of his life and served in the United States Air Force after leaving Ceres High School. Shortly after joining the Service he married his girlfriend, LaVerne and the rest is history.

Dale retired twenty years ago from James River Corporation and he enjoyed camping, fishing, cooking, gambling and most of all his family.

A graveside service will be held on October 10, 2014 at 2:30 pm at the Ceres Memorial Park, 1801 Eeat Whitmore Avenue, Ceres, California.

Burial arrangements are being handled by Eaton Family Funeral Servive.
