Troy "Ellen" Farmer, age 65, of Queen City, Texas died Sunday, October 5, 2014 at her residence.

Ellen was born October 20, 1948 in Altus, Oklahoma to Troy and Alviree Hestand. She was a Church Of Christ member and enjoyed crocheting and reading. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her family and her dog, Kat. She was preceded in death by her parents, Troy and Alviree Hestand.

Survivors include two sons, Russell Becker of Atlanta, Texas, James Becker and wife Kandy of Queen City, Texas; one sister, Gloria Wilder and husband Lonnie of McLeod, Texas; one brother, Alfred Hestand and wife Sherry of Amarillo, Texas; two grandchildren, Troy Becker and Jaymie Becker and a number of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be 5:30 P.M., Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Hanner Funeral Service Chapel with Dale Alexander officiating.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. the day of the service.
