Mrs. Harold E. Stedman
LEE--Mrs. Alice H. Stedman, 61, wife of Harold E. Stedman, Main Street, South Lee, died early this morning at Pittsfield General Hospital where she had been a patient for two weeks.

Born in Great Barrington Oct. 17, 1897, she was the daughter of William and Lydia Royce McCarthy. She had spent most of her life in Lee. She was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, South Lee.

Besides her hsuband, she leaves a daughter, Mrs. Edward Horvath of Enfield, Conn.; two sons, Robert H. of Lee and William E. of Housatonic; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Mange of Lee; three brothers, Ward McCarthy of Tyringham, William of Staten Island, N.Y., and Frank of Pine Street, South Lee; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The body rests at the Kelly Funeral Home where friends may call tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at the Church of the Good Shepherd. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
