Mrs. Peter A. Hanson Dead.

Anna Greta Erickson was born in Mosockro, Kumskulle Socken, Kalmar Lan, Sweden, December 22, 1845, and passed away at her home, January 3, 1928, at the age of 82 years and 12 days.

She came to the United States in 1869, spent two years in Chicago, and from there came to Olsburg, Kansas.

In 1871, she was united in marriage to Peter August Hanson and settled on the homestead and resided there until her death. Her husband preceded her in death July 2, 1897.

To this union were born nine children, of which three sons and one daughter have preceded her in death.

Those who remain to mourn her departure are Mrs. Selma Longstaff, Westmoreland, and Elof Hanson of Olsburg; Mrs. Amanda Coffman, Manhattan; Otto Hanson, White River, South Dakota; John Hanson, Olsburg; nineteen grandchildren, two brothers, John and William Erickson, both of Olsburg, and a large circle of relatives and friends.

She was a charter member of the Lutheran church, and remained a faithful member until her death. The funeral services were held at the Lutheran church in Olsburg. Rev. Christenson conducted the services. Interment was in the Olsburg cemetery.
