Edward F. Kusiak

Edward F. Kusiak, age 86, a resident of River's Bend Health & Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc, died Thursday, November 3, 2011 at the Center.

Edward was born January 9, 1925, in the town of Eaton, son of the late Stanley and Margaret (Wyngaard) Kusiak. On June 25, 1949 he married Hattie Wichlacz in Two Rivers. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Edward was a mason tender for Hoffman Brothers Construction Company in Two Rivers.

He was preceded in death by two sons: Edward J. Kusiak Jr., Richard Kusiak; two brothers: Wally Kusiak and James Nichols; one sister: Elsie Cywinski; and one step-brother: Robert Holda.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 7, 2011 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Kick Mauthe with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers. Military Honors will be accorded by the Two Rivers V.F.W. and the American Legion.
The famiy will greet relatives and friends on Monday, November 7, 2011 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church from 9:00 until 10:45 a.m.

The Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers, is assisting the family with funeral agrangements.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at River's Bend and Heartland Hospice for their care and compassion shown towards Edward and his family.
