Cyrus and Lydia were the parents of William Britton Keefer, Ida Keefer Immell, Mary Jane Keefer Thrush, Edgar Cyrus Keefer (1870-1943, buried in Shippensburg, PA), Carrie Grace Keefer Wenger(1875-1973; wife of John Jacob Wenger; buried in Sterling Illinois) and Grant Dewald Keefer (1864, 1949; died in Kings County, California).
Mr. Keefer was an esteemed farmer, churchman and citizen. He was prominent in the Republican party, twice elected to the Legislature.
