Mr. Leonard was my counselor in middle school, and he was a wonderful man. Even after I moved on to high school I could always stop by his office for a chat. He helped me through alot of hard times in my life and I will always remember him for that. And the fact that he never wore socks :)
He worked with children for most of his life, and I am sure made a difference to many. He was always an unjudging ear and would go out of his way to help. He was loved by everyone.
He was killed in 1997 by his wife. He was a wonderful father and loved his daughter very much, I remember seeing her at the school with him quite often.
From his obituary
He is survived by his daughter, Morgan Gloria Leonard; father, Fred (Caroline) Leonard Sr.;mother, Ann; and sisters Theresa and Pamela. Interment in Marysville Cemetery.
