Thomas L. Brady, 61, of Belle Fourche, died Thursday, March 16, 2006 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center at Ft. Meade.

Thomas was born March 27, 1944 at Pierre, SD to Thomas H. and Josephine Ondricek Brady. He grew up in Pierre and attended school there. He joined the Navy in 1961, serving his country honorably until 1965, then returning to Pierre.

On January 7, 1967 Thomas married Edna Mae Chambers in Pierre. They were soul mates and best friends.

Thomas worked for Ferding Electric in Pierre and as a State Electrical Inspector for the past 15 ½ years.

They moved to the Black Hills in 1993 and lived in the Englewood area near Lead. They recently moved to Belle Fourche.

He was a member of the International Association of Electrical Inspectors. He leaves his family with many wonderful memories of trout fishing, hunting, camping and his woodworking. He was an avid rock hound and enjoyed walking and was a wonderful cook. Thomas was a giving person who touched many lives.

Thomas is survived by his wife Edna of Belle Fourche, two daughters, Adeina Zeigler and Tonya Jones both of Belle Fourche, a brother Dennis Brady of Pierre, two sisters Ann (Richard) Briscoe, Sturgis, SD and Jennie (Ki) Weingart of Pierre, two grandsons, Trenton Zeigler of Highmore, SD and Brady Jones of Belle Fourche.

His parents preceded him in death.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, March 24, 2006 at the United Methodist Church in Belle Fourche with Rev. Gail Arnold officiating. Inurnment with military honors will be at Black Hills National Cemetery.
