Mr. McNeill, owner of the McNeill Fire Extinguisher Company of Rochester, was born 25 Oct 1893 in Pittsburgh. After residing in East Liverpool and Midland for many years, he moved to Rochester in 1945.
A Navy veteran of World War II, he was a member of Saint Cecelia’s Catholic Church, Holy Name Society and American Legion Post 498, all of Rochester.
He is survived by a son, James McNeill of Barberton; a sister Mrs. Marian Patsch of Rochester; a brother, Dennis McNeill of Cleveland, and two grandchildren.
Requiem Mass will be held at 10 am Monday at the church with burial in the church cemetery.
Friends may call after 2 pm Saturday at the Cannon Funeral Home in Midland and after noon Sunday at the Hartzel Funeral Home in Rochester.
