Mr. DeWitt retired form the Cass County Highway Department.
He was a member of Shiloh Lutheran Church and aslo attended Bethlehem Methodist Church.
Survivng are four sons, Darell DeWitt and his wife Shirley, and James DeWitt and his companion Madeline B. McDaniel all of Logansport, Don DeWitt, Twelvw Mile, and Dale DeWitt and his wife Diane, Lucerne; two daughters, Charlene Warner and Judy DeWitt, both of Logansport; one daughter-in-law, Di DeWitt, Logansport; 24 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and sereral great-great greatchildren.
One son, Harold DeWitt, one daughter-in-law, Caroline DeWitt, two sisters and two brothers preceded in death.
