She was a member of the Karns community where she attended Beaver Ridge United Methodist Church and Bethel United Methodist Church.
Wyvonne was preceded in death by her parents Clayton and Alta Barker and brothers Earl and Hugh Barker as well as her loving husband of 65 years Myron Everett Stooksbury and her beloved grandsons Steven Lynn Stooksbury and Jerry Everett (J.E.) Stooksbury, Jr.
She is survived by her three devoted children, son Jerry Stooksbury (Dana); two daughters Betty Stooksbury Breeding (James) and Carolyn Stooksbury Sunderland (Richard); five grandchildren, David Stooksbury (Sonya), Angela Breeding, Cathy Paterick Stooksbury (Steven), Valarie Breeding Cagle (Dale), Jennifer Daniels Neal (Jeff), and Reid Daniels (Becky); ten great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and her loving nieces and nephews.
A Christian who led by gracious example, "Wy" honored the Lord and her family as a virtuous wife, mother, grandmother, and neighbor. She worked diligently as a homemaker and volunteered as her children's Girl Scout leader and school room mother. Like so many of her patriotic generation, she served proudly on the homefront during World War II to support the war effort as a cubical operator at the Oak Ridge Y-12 Plant.
