Services Held For W. Caudill
Funeral services were held at the Sandlick Regular Baptist Church Saturday, May 10, for Watson E. Caudill, 75-year-old farmer who died at his Whitco home Thursday, May 8.
Born July 15, 1876, in Letcher County, the son of Jessie and Martha Boggs Caudill, Watson was a life long resident of this county, where he married Elizabeth Caudill, who preceded him in death.
He is survived by ten children, Mrs. Beulah Horne, Cumberland; Mrs. Nora Stidham, Whitesburg; Mrs. Dora Pennington, Whitesburg; Mrs. Annie Delph, Whitesburg; Mrs. Saybrina Pennington, Whitesburg; Mrs. Alice Brown, Annapolis, Md.; Woodrow Caudill, Indiana; R. B. Caudill, Whitesburg; Riley Caudill, Cumberland; and Beckham Caudill, Baltimore, Md.
Burial was in the R. B. Caudill Cemetery, Craft Funeral Home in charge. Reverends Curt Caudill, Archie Craft Sr., and Andrew Adams officiated.
