Lou was best known for working at Eubank’s Clothing Store, where she worked for more than 20 years. Because Lou was an excellent seamstress, she was first hired to do alterations. Later, Lou became the bookkeeper and clerk for the store. She was a dependable and dedicated worker. After Eubank’s closed, she worked at Tabor’s Home Medical for many years. Lou’s world also consisted of helping Tommy on the farm, working cattle, doing the yard work, whatever was needed. She also loved to travel. When Tommy needed to go on trips for the REC Board, Lou was always ready to go. Lou’s other pastimes included bowling, cooking, playing the piano and playing games on the computer. Lou was an active member of the Eastern Star, and a past Worthy Matron. She was also a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Many people have said, “Lou loved people and people loved Lou. She will be greatly missed.”
