Annie Mae Mathis married Robert W. Scott of 1917 in AR. They had five daughters and one son. Their names are Evelyn Bastile, Francis Louise, Helen Pauline, Mildred Emaline, Robert Junior & Patsy Ruth Scott. Patsy is burried at this cemetery as well. She passed away at age two. The family was too poor to give her a tombstone, so there is only a small unsigned marker where she lies.
After she divorced her husband Bob, Annie moved to Kansas City, Missouri where she later met Frank D. McDaniel (#3675162). They dated for 14 years and lived together for 3 or 4 years so she could take care of him when his health got bad. He's buried at Leavenworth National Cemetery in Leavenworth, KS. She never would marry him, but loved him dearly and took his death hard.
