Mrs. Furlong was the widow of the late Philip Furlong. She was one of the old residents of Springfield, having lived in this city for the last twenty-nine years.
She was born in New Brunswick, Canada.
Mrs. Furlong is survived by twelve children - James, Richard, John, Philip, Lawrence, Thomas and Charles Furlong, Mrs. George Whittle, Mrs. Fred Gould, Mrs. William Hayden and Misses Ellen and Clara Furlong.
The funeral will be announced later.
