Theria Burton 87, died Sunday, September 11, 2005, in Hickory Creek Nursing Facility. She was a resident of Franklin. She was born June 8, 1918 in Columbia KY, to Gather and Eva (Holt) Burton. Survivors include four sons, Bobbie Burton of Greenwood, Houston Burton of Sutersville, PA., Austin Burton of Mooresville and Harold Burton of Franklin; three daughters, Faye Smiley of Greenwood, Trudy Bishop of Mooresville and Carolyn Sue Walters of Columbia, KY; 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son Billy Burton. She was a homemaker and caregiver. A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday Sept. 14 in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday Sept. 13 in the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association.
