She worked as a waitress for several Morgan County restaurants and was owner/operator of the Skating Rink in Pennsville for over 50 years. She was a member of the Penn Modern Mothers OCCL and the Morgan County Senior Citizens.
Marie is survived by two sons, James (Butch) and Donna Weber of Pennsville and Mike and Angie Abel of Stockport; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four brothers, Howard and Gene of Chesterhill, Clovis of South Bloomfield, and Conrad of Marietta.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, James F. Weber and Richard “Dick” Abel; one son, Clifford H. Abel, and five brothers, Marion “Shug”, Russ, Wilbur “Webb”, Gail, and Doug.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 3, at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with Evang. Dan Hickerson officiating.
Friends may call on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in the Pennsville Cemetery.
