WELLKNOWN MONTICELLO WOMAN DIES AT HOME OF SISTER IN INDIANAPOLIS

MONTICELLO, Ind.--Mrs. Alice I. Anheier, well known local woman, passed away Wednesday night at the home of her sister, Mrs. Anna Laura Snyder, at Indianapolis. She suffered a severe stroke October 28 and was later removed to her sister's home.

Born in White county the daughter of Henry C. and Mark G. Baker Shoop, she had spent most of her life in this community. Prior to her marriage in 1905 to William M. Anheier, she had at one time served as deputy county recorder and was employed in several Monticello law offices. After her husband's death she worked in local abstract and finance offices. She was a member of the Methodist church.

Surviving are four brothers, Orlo D., Roanoke; George W., Reynolds; James Ray, Wichita, Kas.; and Harold, Linden; and one sister at Indianapolis.

Friends may call at the Prevo funeral home here after 10 a.m. Friday. Final rites will be conducted there Saturday at 1:30 p.m. by the Rev. Blaine Kirkpatrick. Burial will be in Riverview cemetery.
