Born on October 9, 1944 in Macon, Missouri, she was the daughter of Kenneth and Maude Opal “Judy” Glenn Dietsch. She married Howard Ray Smith on March 2, 1963 in Burlington, Iowa. He died on January 15, 2009.
Judith was a homemaker. She also worked at Sickel’s Dry Cleaners, Jacks, Subway and Kenny’s Roller Rink. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved her dog “Muffy”. She was of the Lutheran faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard; her parents, step-mother; and one nephew, Howard Harzke.
