Joseph L. KramerServices for Joseph L. "Chubby White" Kramer, 58, of 813 Lincoln Ave., formerly of 1593 Dodge St., will be at 11 am Wednesday at Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main St.Burial will be in Dubuque Memorial Gardens, south of Dubuque, where military rites will be accorded by American Legion Post 6 of Dubuque. Friends may call from 2 to 9 pm today at the funeral home.Mr. Kramer worked at John Deere Dubuque Works, where he was a strong union member serving as a guide and steward with ties to the recreation committee and Boy Scouts of UAW Local 94.He was born on Sept. 3, 1932, in Clinton, Iowa, son of Leslie and Agnes (Clark) White. He died at 11:22 am Sunday, April 21, 1991, at The Finley Hospital.He married Mary Margaret Maas on June 2, 1956; she survives.He was a Korean War Navy veteran and was active with the Dubuque Democratic Party.Also surviving are three daughters, Billee Jo Rapp (and John) and Bonnie Lou Kramer (and Kevin), both of Dubuque, and Susan Lynn (and Keith) Remington of Shelbyville, Ind.; a son, Joseph L. "Pete" Jr. (and Joan); five granddaughters and two step-grandsons; a sister, Janann Haberkorn of Dubuque; and three brothers, John (and Joy), Gerald (and Myrna) and Bill (and Bev) White, all of Dubuque.He was preceded in death by two grandchildren.
