Anthony Russell Aliff,37, of Indianapolis, formerly of Pineville, went on to a better life on Wednesday, April 17, 2013, following a short ill­ness. He was born May 18, 1975 in Tyler, Texas, a son of Charles Edward Aliff of Indianapolis, and Debbie Sue Williams Stewart of Pineville.

He was preceded in death by a son Tony Ryan Aliff, grandparents Russell and Elsie Williams and Ulbert and June Aliff, an uncle Doug Aliff and a step brother Brad Stewart.

He was a roofer and a 1993 graduate of Pineville High School.

Survivors include his daughter Ryanna Aliff of Oceana; his mother Deb­bie Sue (Tommy) Stewart of Pineville; his father Charles Edward (Betty) Aliff of Indianapolis; a brother Jason Edward Aliff and companion Lisa of Pineville; step brother Jason McCory of Indi­anapolis; step sister Jes­sica McCroy of Indi­anapolis; six aunts Liz (James) Mullins of Princeton, Michelle (Tom) Smith of Beaver, Carol Wheaton of Florida, Edna Thomas of Indianapolis, Shirley Aliff of Indi­anapolis and Patricia Blankenship of North Carolina; an uncle David Aliff of Maryland; two nephews Jaden Aliff and Liam McCory; three nieces Sadie Aliff, Shaelyn Aliff and Allie McCo­ry; and a host of other loving family and friends

Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 21, 2013 in the Chapel of Stafford Family Fiineral Home, Lynco, with Rev'. Oza Mullins Jr. offici­ating. Friends may gather with the family from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home on Sunday. Following the services he will be cremated. In lieu of flowers, dona­tions can be made to the
