Heidelberg, 10h February 1883 - to the below undersigning registrar came today the merchant Benno Bodenheimer of Waibstadt, residing in Heidelberg, Hauptstr. Nr. 126, israelitic religion, and reported that by the Mina Bodenheimer nee Bär (Baer), his wife, israrlitic religion, residing with him in Heidelberg, at his residence at the ninth February of the year 1883 midday at noon a child of female gender was born, who got the name Elsa. Read, confirmed and signed Benno Bodenheimer - the registrar - in representation signature.

Elsa’s mother, Mina Bodenheimer née Bär died just four days later, on 13 Feb 1883. Elsa took her mother’s name as her middle name, and was known as Minna to her family and friends.

Minna survived the war and came to the states after her husband Henry died circa 1950, in Brussels.

Minna died in the early 1960s either in New York or New Jersey.
