Wayne G. Sease, 67, Bismarck, died October 14, 2014, at Sanford Health in Bismarck. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at Parkway Funeral Service Chapel, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck, with Pastor Burnie Kunz officiating. Burial will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the ND Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Parkway Funeral Service and will continue one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Wayne was born on September 8, 1927, to Cleaice and Lohman Bailey in Jamestown, ND. In his younger years, he lived in Shenandoah, IA. In May of 1957 Cleaice, Wayne, and Lynda moved to Bismarck when Lowell and Cleaice Sease got married. Wayne graduated from Bismarck High School in 1965. He then joined the Navy on March 21, 1966 and was deployed to Vietnam in May of 1967 where he was put with the Helatkltron Squad 3 group servicing and maintaining helicopters near the front lines of battle. He was honorably discharged from duty in 1970. Wayne met his wife Mary while working at the Big Stone Power Plant. In 1974 they moved back to Bismarck and he joined the IBEW Union and became a journeyman electrician. This carried him around the country for the next 30 years as a start-up engineer working on and building power plants, until health issues forced him to retire. Wayne was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His family was very important to him.
