Son of Isaiah Kiffer and Margaret Ann Bean, husband of Coral Amanda McMillen.

Rev. Dewey V. Kiffer, 87, of Mt. Morris, N.Y. died in
Titusville Hospital. Born in Kiffer Hill, he was a son of
the late Isaiah and Margaret Ann Beane Kiffer.

He was married to Coral Amanda McMillen, who preceded him in death in 1978.

Rev. Kiffer was a former employee of the Oil Well Supply Company in Oil City. In 1949 he entered into the Christian ministry with the Oil City conference for the Free Methodist Church. He served pastorates in Ridgway, Kane, Fleming and the Willow Street Free Methodist Church in Oil City. He retired from the ministry in 1966.

He is survived by two sons, Dr. Theodore Kiffer of State College and Rev. Dewey Mac Kiffer of Milesburg; one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Mary Ann) Latham of Mt. Morris, N.Y.; one brother, Calvin Kiffer of Endeavor; one sister, Mrs. Mabel Albaugh of Clarendon; ten grandchildren, and twenty great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the James K. Haslet Funeral Home in Tionesta on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. and attend the funeral service in the Kiffer Hill Free Methodist Church on Saturday at 1 pm. with Rev. Adolph Steed, retired pastor of
the Titusville Free Methodist Church, and Rev. Mark Arnold,
officiating.

Interment will be in Kiffer Hill Cemetery, Forest County.
