Martha Simms Lewis, age 86, entered into eternal life Tuesday, May 25, 2010.
Mrs. Lewis was born February 21, 1924 in Denison, Texas the daughter of B. B. and Martha Simms. Martha worked for Zales Jewelry and for Dwight Eisenhower birthplace as a host. She was a loving mother, grandmother great-grandmother and sister. Martha will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mrs. Lewis is survived by her loving family, daughter, Darlene Metcalf and her children, John Metcalf and Justin Metcalf all of Center, Texas; daughter, Paula Lewis of Pasadena, Texas; son, Michael Lewis and his children, Brandon Lewis both of Vista, California, and David Lewis and wife, Amanda of Butler, Missouri and son, Ted Lewis and wife, Lorrie and their children, Darrell Lewis and Kelley Lewis and great-grandson, Tanner Lewis of Pasadena, Texas; sister, Joanna Drennan and husband, Dave and brother-in-law, Herman Norman all three of Denison, Texas. Martha was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Virginia Norman.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 28, 2010 at Fairview Cemetery Chapel with Dave Drennan officiating. There is no set time for family visitation.
