Mrs. Mary (May) Dinklocker Lamb, 217 E. Green St, West Hazleton, died last evening at 7:35 pm at the St Joseph Hospital. She was a member of a prominent borough family.
She was born in this city, daughter of the late Herman and Elizabeth Schade Dinklocker, and lived in Kansas City prior to relocating in West Hazleton.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, West Hazleton.
Mrs. Lamb was a past matron and life member of Ivanhoe Chapter, OES, and a life member of Nazarine Shrine, both Kansas City.
Her husband, Elton F. Lamb, died in 1940, and she is survived by two brothers and a sister, Calvin Dinklocker, Pine Grove, Mrs. Harry S. (Margaret) Wheeler, Forty Fort, and Rollin Dinklocker, Jenkintown, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister: Harry, Herbert and Wilbur Dinklocker, and Mrs. John B. Walbridge.
The funeral will be held Monday at 11 am from the Krapf and Hughes Funeral Home, with Rev. Richard E. Abernathy officiating. Interment will be in Vine Street Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday 7 to 9 pm.
