Jon was born Feb. 8, 1962, to John W. and Judy (Baumgartner) Alguire in Billings.
Jon attended and graduated from schools in Missoula. He was on the University of Montana swim team. Jon loved hiking, water and snow skiing, swimming, fishing the streams, surf boarding, and was certified in scuba diving. He loved attending the Eagles Concerts with his Dad, and his brother Jeff. He also enjoyed attending the Indy 500 with his Dad, Mom, Jeff and his friend Roger.
He had a quick wit, always entertaining his family and friends with his impersonations and in his Donald Duck voice. He was a great chef. He always cooked the holiday dinners for his family and friends. His holiday turkeys were perfection, and his Mother teased him that he shouldn't carve them. He should take a picture of the turkeys and send them to Gourmet Magazine. Jon loved gardening, always having a large vegetable and flower garden. He recently surprised his mother by planting flowers and vegetables in all of her flower pots while she was on a holiday trip. His love for history has passed down to his daughter Kyra. Jon donated his corneas so two people are now able to have better vision.
Jon was predeceased by his father, John; his aunt, Marilyn Brown; uncle, Thomas Mullowney; grandparents, J.A. and Vivienne Baumgartner and J. C. and Edna Alguire.
He is survived by his daughter, Kyra; his mother, Judy; brother, Jeff (Chiri); Kyra's mother, Kim; aunt and uncle, Shirley and Dan Austin; uncle, Rockwood Brown; niece, Aza; many cousins and second cousins.
