William was born in Greenville, Alabama on November 22, 1916, the son of the late Berry and Massaleaner Powell. He was a member of Minerva United Methodist Church. He was the designer, builder, owner and operator of Clearview Golf Course.
William is survived by a daughter and a son, both of East Canton; and three sisters. He is preceded in death by his wife Marcella, and a son William.
Funeral Services will be held in the Minerva United Methodist Church at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 6th, with Rev. Kerry King officiating. Calling hours will be held Tuesday 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 at Minerva United Methodist Church. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Clearview Legacy Foundation PO Box 30196 East Canton, OH 44730.
