Dale E. Draggoo

Dale E. Draggoo, 80, of Osseo, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at MacRitchie North Skilled Nursing Facility in Hillsdale. He was born April 15, 1934 in DeKalb County, IN to C.J. and Naomi (Baker) Draggoo. He married Elaine Cox on March 26, 1955 and she survives.
Dale was the former owner and operator of Burnett Lumber and Fuel in Osseo. He served in the Army Reserves for eight years and was a former Boy Scout and Scout Leader. Dale was a member of the North Adams United Methodist Church after many years at Osseo United Methodist Church.
Surviving besides his wife, Elaine, are three daughters, Dalene Beauregard of Osseo, Cheryl (Steve) Baker of Wayland and Debra (Jack) Walworth of Colonial Beach, VA; one son, Kyle (Rachelle) Draggoo of Katy, Texas; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; one sister, Jeannine (Clive) Dowell of Clearwater and two brothers, Dennis Draggoo of Osseo and David Draggoo of Lainsburg, MI.
Memorial services for Dale Draggoo will be Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale with Pastors Don Lee and Tim Puckett officiating. Interment will follow at East Hill Cemetery in Osseo. The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.
