Long Illness Fatal To Ernest Blackburn
Ernest James Blackburn, of 1220 Fourteenth avenue east, died at his residence Friday morning, following a long illness. He was born in Bowmanville, Ontario, and came to Calgary 17 years ago. Before taking over the Bridgeland hardware store eight years ago he had been with the Wood-Vallance Co. He was a member of Wesley United church.
Surviving are two daughters, Audrey and Maxine; a son, Leslie, all in Calgary, and three sisters, Mrs. O. Cole, Estella and Katherine, all of Bowmanville; three brothers, Mark and Fred in Bowmanville, and Frank in Denver, Colorado.
