Mr. Barba lived in Toledo 35 years. He was an inspector at the East Broadway plant of the Libbey-Owens-Ford Glass Co., where he had been employed 30 years, and was a member of Local 9, United Glass and Ceramic Workers Union.
Surviving are his wife, Victoria; son, Richard, North Springfield, Va., daughter, Mrs. Jeanette Hurley, Toledo; half-brothers, Theodore East, Clinton; Richard P. East, Meadow, Long Island, NY, and Alex, Swanton, and seven grandchildren.
Services will be Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. The rosary will be recited tonight at 8 p.m. in the Hoeflinger Mortuary. Toledo Blade, February 8, 1960.
