Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Frank L. and Anna E. (Kilroy) Cullion, she had lived in Lincoln most of her life.
Mrs. Rivers had been a tax auditor for the Internal Revenue Service for many years, retiring in 1988.
She was an active member of and volunteer at St. Jude Church.
She leaves a sister-in-law, Claire Cullion of Lincoln; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Francis L., William J. and Dorothea P. Cullion.
The funeral was held Monday from Lincoln Funeral Home, Lincoln., with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Jude Church, Lincoln. Burial followedin Mount St. Mary Cemetery, East Providence.
