Jeremy Lundy with grandchildren, Gabriel Lundy, Noah Lundy, Gracie Lundy and Sarah Lundy, Dallas, Georgia; Sam Duffey Boone and wife Angie Mullinax Boone, grandchildren Nathan Frank Boone, Elizabeth Boone, William Dean Boone, Vivian Blair Boone, Samuel James Boone, daughter Kasey Elizabeth Boone of Dallas, Georgia, Marietta, Georgia and a step daughter Vicky Marie Avon Engelman, Frisco, Texas. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
After graduating from Bowman High School, Bakersville, N. C., he attended Lees McRae College in Banner Elk, N. C. and later moved to Atlanta, GA where he joined the Atlanta Police Department as well as the Georgia National Guard. He later was employed by Alexander Underwriters, Inc. in Decatur, Georgia where he learned insurance underwriting. He returned to his roots in Spruce Pine, N. C. and opened his own insurance agency in Spruce Pine and Newland, N. C. Ronnie later moved back to the Atlanta area to be with his children and grandchildren.
The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence at the memorial service for Ronnie Boone on Friday, November 18, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church with the Dr. Rocky Branch and Rev. Jeremy Lundy officiating. Afterwards a grave side service at Rebels Creek Cemetery.
