Mr. Kirt, nee Ladonia Straka, was born Oct. 16, 1912, in the Town of Gibson, daughter of the late Edward and Alvina Hostak Straka. She was married to Joseph Kirt, April 14, 1936. The couple farmed in the Town of Kossuth here they resided at the present time. Mrs. Kirt was a member of Western Fraternal Life Association Lodge No. 20, Melnik, Francis Creek Rockwood Senior Citizens, a member of Melnik Presbyterian Church and Martha Society of the church.
