Died Friday April 16, 2010 at his residence in Huntington, WestVirginia at the age of 61. The cause of death is unknown. He was born May 31, 1948 in Huntington, a son of the late Emery and Martha Goolsby Adkins. He was retired from the United States Air Force. Hewas a member of VFW Post # 1064, whose members will conduct Military Graveside Rites, and was a member of American Legion Post # 16 and the D.A.V. He was a Life Member of Vietnam Veterans of America–Huntington Chapter #949. He is survived by his wife, a daughter, a son, a grandson, two sisters, and a brother. Friends may call from 6 pm until 8 pm Monday April 20, 2010 at Chapman’s Mortuary. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday April 20, 2010 at Chapman’s Mortuary, with Pastor Randall Sites officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
